
Dr. Tina Tang, MD
Dr. Tina Tang is a vitreoretinal surgeon and uveitis specialist with additional expertise in ocular oncology and adult inherited retinal diseases. She completed her medical degree at McGill University, residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Manitoba, and advanced fellowship training in vitreoretinal surgery and uveitis at the University of Toronto. She also holds a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins University.
At RGNE Dr. Tang focuses on medical and surgical retinal diseases — including retinal detachment, macular holes, diabetic retinopathy, AMD, uveitis, ocular tumors, and adult inherited retinal diseases — combining cutting-edge imaging, surgery, and individualized care to help patients preserve their vision. She is actively involved in research, teaching, and mentoring the next generation of ophthalmologists at Yale.
