Retinitis Pigmentosa

Retinitis pigmentosa is a group of inherited retinal degenerations that gradually damage the light-sensing cells of the retina, especially the rods. It commonly begins with night blindness and progressive peripheral vision loss, and in some cases may later affect central vision.
